Presentation Overview: Certain scenarios tend to arise with our aging populations. Sometimes one spouse is very ill while another spouse owns a business or has a large 401K. Later in life or second marriages often lead to a natural division of assets, but when one spouse gets sick, does Medicaid respect that division? Amy Delaney, an elder law attorney with Delaney Delaney & Voorn, Ltd. of Oak Brook, will be speaking on these issues and the potential solutions under the Medicaid laws.
