American Bar Association – The ABA is the largest voluntary professional association in the world which provides services to almost every area of the legal profession including law school accreditation, continuing legal education, information about the law, programs to assist lawyers and judges in their work, and initiatives to improve the legal system for the public.


The mission of Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. is to benefit the public by granting the CFP® certification and upholding it as the recognized standard of excellence for competent and ethical personal financial planning.


DuPage County Bar Association provides numerous services for DuPage County lawyers. The DCBA also serves the public by providing a comprehensive lawyer referral service.


Illinois CPA Society – Professional association representing more than 23,000 certified public accountants (CPA) in Illinois.  Offers resources & information for the accounting & finance community, and the public.


Illinois Department of Labor promotes and protects the rights, wages, welfare, working conditions, safety and health of Illinois workers through enforcement of the state labor laws.


Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES) is a direct link to Illinois workforce services: job placement and referrals, unemployment insurance, employment and training programs, career and labor market information, payroll tax filing, and more!


Illinois Department of Revenue serves as the tax collection agency for state and local governments. The department also administers the state’s lottery and regulates the manufacture, distribution, and sale of alcoholic beverages. The department also oversees local property tax assessments, and functions as the funding agent for the Illinois Housing Development Authority.


Illinois Secretary of State – The Official Web site for Illinois Secretary of State. Provides lookup database of licensed professionals in the state. 


Illinois State Bar Association – ISBA was formed in 1877 by a group of forward-thinking lawyers and judges. It remains a voluntary organization, governed by a 201-member assembly.


Library of Congress – The Library of Congress THOMAS site is the source for federal legislative information.  THOMAS provides several options for finding bills, resolutions, and legislative histories from 1973 to the present.  Legislative information can be searched across multiple Congresses.  THOMAS is also the source for presidential nominations, treaties, committee reports, legislative resources for researchers and teachers.  THOMAS draws on the resources of the Library of Congress to provide users with valuable and historical information related to the legislative process.


Medicare.gov provides information about the parts of Medicare, what’s new, and how to find Medicare plans, facilities, or providers.


Medicaid helps seniors and people with disabilities receive long term services and supports in their communities as well as in nursing homes. Together, these programs provide an important foundation for maintaining the health of our nation.


Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) is committed to providing participant and compliance assistance regarding pension, health and other employee benefit plans.


Social Security Administration provides individuals with projections of Social Security retirement benefits and many other services.  


U.S. Internal Revenue Service – The Internal Revenue Service is the nation’s tax collection agency and administers the Internal Revenue Code enacted by Congress.
