Patrick has been a practicing attorney for over 17 years. Raised on a farm in Michigan, he attended Loyola University Chicago before receiving his JD from Notre Dame. He began his legal career as a litigator before finding his true calling in Trust and Estate Planning. In addition to private practice, Patrick spent several years with CIBC Private Wealth Management as a corporate trustee overseeing a portfolio of HNW/UHNW clients as well as a large number of special and supplemental needs trusts, including the Illinois Disability Pooled Trust. Patrick founded the Carrier Law Group to use his knowledge of Trust law to benefit individuals and families, providing peace of mind in difficult situations. Trusts and Estates is about far more than just avoiding probate, especially when it comes to protecting the family, long-term care, disability and special needs. It’s about making sure that people are heard and educated, secure and supported.
