Steven R. Kotarba, Esq. Mr. Kotarba is president and CEO of The Hill Street group which includes Hill Street Trust (in formation – NH). Steve has more than 30 years of experience advising boards, trustees, and senior executives of middle-market through Fortune 100 companies on complex legal and financial matters. He is a licensed attorney who began his career practicing at Kirkland & Ellis before moving to Alvarez & Marsal as a Managing Director, where he advised boards of directors and corporate officers on high-profile matters involving governance, fiduciary duties, investigations, and financial restructuring. Mr. Kotarba has served in fiduciary roles as well as advised trustees, boards, and company leadership teams across a wide range of industries and circumstances. Mr. Kotarba attended Indiana University on a baseball scholarship and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law, where he as Associate Editor of the Iowa Law Review. He is admitted to practice law in Illinois and has been admitted pro hac vice in numerous other state and federal jurisdictions.
