Bio
I've always believed financial planning should feel personal, not transactional. That belief took root when I was still in high school, sitting in my first economics class and wondering how anyone truly plans for retirement. Curious and eager to learn, I opened my first investment account with the help of my parents and their Edward Jones financial advisor. Less than six years later, I found myself helping others in the very same way.
After earning my Bachelor of Business in finance from Western Illinois University and my Master of Arts in economics as a graduate assistant with the Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs, I began my career as a financial advisor with Edward Jones. Completing the financial advisor Career Development Program in St. Louis prepared me to return home and do what I love most: meet face to face with clients and help them navigate their financial journey with confidence.
Today, as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, I work closely with individuals and businesses to create tailored financial strategies built around their unique goals and values. I focus on understanding each client's full financial picture – from investments and retirement planning to tax efficiency and risk management. I believe in listening like a friend and protecting like family, always delivering advice with care, clarity and dedication.
Giving back is also important to me. I serve on the advisory committee board for the finance and accounting department at Western Illinois University, helping support the next generation of financial leaders.
Alongside my senior branch office administrator, Lisa Freeman, we are committed to making our planning process approachable, personalized and centered on your success.
