Bio
I've built my experience in financial planning and education during my ten years as an independent financial planner at Waddell & Reed and LPL Financial. I focus on helping families – especially those who have family members with special needs – understand and make use of all the financial options and opportunities available to them.
I received an MBA in 1998 and has earned the CFP® certificate in 2009. As an ultra-marathoner, I know that a lifestyle full of preparation, training, and pacing guides one toward long-term success. I bring the same mindset to financial planning and investment management.
I am an active member of my community, donating time to local charitable causes, principally in the area of special needs, and is the past President of the Rotary Club of Glen Ellyn.
I was raised in Central Florida and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I almost never stop moving; but if you catch me, you’ll probably find me in front of a BBQ smoker, in the kitchen baking pies, or running ultras. I am the father of a child with special needs. My wife, who is a special needs planning attorney, and I make our home in Glen Ellyn.
