Bio
Lisa Cathcart serves as Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Arboretum Wealth & Trust Management, leading all administration, advisory, and investment operations.
Prior to joining AWTM in 2016, Ms. Cathcart served as Senior Trust Administration Manager, responsible for administering and developing trust services for a community-oriented national bank. Ms. Cathcart began her career as a trust department clerk and worked her way up through the ranks of the industry. Starting from the bottom and progressing through nearly every facet of the business has given her a level of comprehensive expertise that few of her peers possess. Ms. Cathcart’s extensive knowledge of personal trust administration, taxation, and operations have been crucial to AWTM’s continued growth and success. She has been in the industry for nearly three decades.
Ms. Cathcart holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in finance and management from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She also attended the Cannon Financial Institute where she received specialized personal trust education. Ms. Cathcart has earned the ICB Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) certification and the Accredited Fiduciary Investment Manager (AFIM) certification.
Outside of the office, Lisa has been a volunteer for the American Cancer Society (ACS) for more than 20 years. She also captained a team for ACS Relay for Life, which has raised millions of dollars for cancer research.
