Neil T. Goltermann concentrates his practice in estate planning, probate administration, business transactions and planning, corporate law, and real estate.
Neil has a comprehensive estate planning practice that includes the use of wills, trusts, advanced estate planning, asset protection planning, probate and trust administration. His practice involves assisting clients in planning for the lifetime management, protection and distribution of their assets, including individuals and families with high net worth, and advising individuals and companies with regard to business succession planning, probate and trust administration. In his practice, Neil has also represented entrepreneurs, professionals, and small and mid-size businesses in the full range of business organization and operations, buy-sell and employment agreements, the sale of businesses and other commercial transactions, employment law and practice, and business succession.
Neil resides in Naperville, Illinois with his wife, Julie, where they raised their three, now adult, children. Over the years he Neil has volunteered in a number of different capacities as a coach for youth sports, and with various community and church activities. Neil has volunteered with Boy Scout Troop 505-Naperville (Assistant Scoutmaster 2006 – 2013; Charter Organization Representative 2013 – ). He served two terms as the Clerk of Session for Knox Presbyterian Church of Naperville, where he is also an elder. He also served as a co-moderator for Knox’s Permanent Funds Ministry Committee, assisting in the organization and management of the church’s endowment fund. Neil is on the DuPage Foundation Professional Advisory Committee. He previously served on to the Family Shelter Service Planned Giving Advisory Council. He also serves on the Board of DayOnePACT, Inc. and Von Oven Scout Reservation, Inc. When he is not otherwise preoccupied, Neil has trained for and run in triathlons, as well as bicycle events.
