Doug Slinkman began his career in the insurance industry in 2001 as an in-house licensed producer at the Herman Agency. Mentored over the years by founder Burt Herman and long time Vice President Jim Veenstra, Doug was trained to provide the thoughtful analysis and in-depth detail which the Herman Agency is renowned for. As his career progressed Doug obtained the Series 7 and 63 licenses as well as the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations from The American College. Doug collaborates with advisors to implement solutions to clients’ life, annuity, long term care, and disability insurance needs. He and his wife Ashley are raising their three children in the Western suburbs of Chicago.
