Daniel P. Vargo - Secretary


His expertise covers a broad range of services for individuals, estates, trusts, nonprofits, and closely held businesses.

His goal is to deliver personal, timely, and cost efficient services utilizing his unique depth of knowledge and experience to provide meaningful recommendations and services designed to increase a client’s financial security.

Dan earned his Bachelors in Economics (BA) and Master’s (MAS) degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana.

Professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the AICPA Tax Division, the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS), Fox Valley Chapter of the ICPAS, the DuPage County Estate Planning Council, Fox Valley Estate Planning Council, National Society of Tax Professionals, the National Association for the Self-Employed, and the Naperville Chamber of Commerce.

The AICPA rewarded Dan with a Certificate of Recognition for successful participations in the AICPA peer review program.

For the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS), Dan has served on various committees over the past 30 years including the Legislation & Regulation, Insurance Companies, and the Individual Income Tax.

In addition, Dan has received four distinguished service awards from the ICPAS for his committed volunteer efforts.

For the Fox Valley Chapter of the ICPAS, Dan has served on various boards and has held offices including President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Delegate, Legislative Chair, C.P.E. Chair, and Membership Chair. He was awarded the Outstanding Chapter President Award.

Dan is available to provide professional presentations for various professional and civic organizations, banks, trust departments, chambers, junior colleges, and newspapers.
